Because pieces of paper are the most common link between all parties involved in litigation, we can determine if documents are originals, forged or tampered with by providing forensic investigative research to identify the “paper fingerprint” of those records. The paper substrate tells the supporting story of the signature and when the document was created. Using state-of-the art tools, in most cases, we can define a date range of manufacture of the paper and tell what kind of machine the paper was printed on.
Our investigative services include: on-site or laboratory document examination, depositions and testing. We offer both non-destructive and destructive test methods to help verify the type of paper used and its properties and we provide expert testimony and clear, concise court exhibits. Since we also provide web-based microscopic and remote field-testing, exhibit documents which are not allowed to leave the courthouse no longer escape “paper investigation.” This also helps to avoid costly travel charges.
